Previewing Seed’s Trip to TMRE
In a few short days, more than 1,100 market research and insights execs will travel to Orlando, FL for The Marketing Research Event (TMRE).
TMRE provides a place for industry professionals to unite in order to learn about unlocking transformational insights that can serve as a powerful force for business success.
This year’s core topic areas (also known as “tracks”) include Next-Gen Insights Leadership & Strategy; Cutting-Edge Technology & Trends; Insight-Driven Innovation & Brand Engagement; Supercharging the Business with Data; and Winning Over the Savvy Consumer.
Seed’s Cherri Prince and Lauren Selman are looking forward to being among those in attendance. We were fortunate enough to catch up with Lauren prior to her trip in order to get her thoughts about the conference.
What’s the most exciting thing about attending TMRE?
Aside from gathering with other like-minded professionals in the insights community, we’re also looking forward to learning from the many amazing speakers lined up to present at the event. For instance, Malcolm Gladwell will be talking about how to find hidden truths in data. If Malcolm Gladwell is a featured speaker, you know it’s going to be big-time!
Why is it important for Seed to be there?
With Seed and Burke joining forces, we’re excited to attend a conference that truly bridges all our areas of expertise. TMRE gives us the unique opportunity to see what’s new in research and to understand how we can tie that into our brand strategy and innovation processes at Seed. We’re confident that this event will help us unlock smarter, cooler and more efficient ways to mine consumer truths and bring the most impactful insights to our clients.
Which topics will get most of your time and attention?
Consumer insights are the foundation of everything we do at Seed—without them, you can’t illuminate a clear path forward. With that in mind, we will spend a great deal of time checking out the tracks devoted to next-gen insights strategy as well as insight-driven innovation and brand engagement. And since it’s important for Seed to stay on top of the latest and greatest, we also expect to soak up everything we can about cutting-edge technology and trends.
Any last thoughts or other things you are looking forward to?
Yes! We’re currently working on a proprietary research study around women—what success means to them and which categories actually understand them—so we’re excited to engage in the conversation about women’s insights. We’re definitely going to check out the presentation of the Women in Research MRX Diversity Champion Award and there are specific tracks and speakers that focus on women that we know will be really engaging. The conference will be full of inspiration in this area and we look forward to immersing, learning and connecting.
