Burke and Seed Celebrate Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
On September 17, the Burke and Seed Strategy teams were joined by Vice Mayor Christopher Smitherman to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for the new Seed Strategy building on Burke’s campus. Also in attendance were members of the City of Cincinnati Department of Community and Economic Development, Hixson Architecture, Turnbull-Wahlert Construction, local news, and a supportive crowd of Burke and Seed employees, friends and family.
The sunny, mid-morning ceremony was emceed by Seed’s Corey Beilstein and featured a handful of short speeches by Seed’s Founder and CEO Susan Jones, Burke CEO Jeff Miller and Vice Mayor Smitherman. The remarks spent time reflecting on Seed’s journey since its founding in 2001, honoring the Burke-Seed acquisition and partnership, recounting tales of the building process, and celebrating the new addition to downtown Cincinnati.
Jones encapsulated the essence of the momentous event in her speech: “Since its inception 18 years ago, Seed Strategy has aimed to be a sanctuary where the best strategists and creatives wanted to come to work. Today, that vision becomes a reality as we officially open the doors to our modern treehouse.”
