Siegel Recognized for Innovative Ideas to Transform Greater Cincinnati Landmark
Seed Strategy Creative Director, Adam Siegel, was one of two winners selected in a contest soliciting ideas to reimagine Newport on the Levee—an award-winning multi-level retail entertainment center located across from downtown Cincinnati on the south bank of the Ohio River.
The contest, run by North American Properties (which purchased Newport on the Levee in December), garnered more than 3,000 entries across Facebook, Instagram, email and local media websites and social media accounts.
“We view Newport on the Levee as a critical asset to the mixed-use evolution of the immediate area, and it’s our job to be its dedicated stewards, working closely with the community, so that the Levee provides a unique and market responsive draw for not only the neighborhood, but the entire region,” states Tim Perry, partner and Chief Investment Officer of North American Properties. “Adam’s ideas for the transformation of the Levee stood out as being both very strategic and extremely creative—exactly what we were looking for.”
In recognition of his winning entry, Siegel was invited to a celebratory luncheon where he met with Mr. Perry and other executives from North American Properties and Newport on the Levee to discuss his ideas and talk more about the future vision for the greater Cincinnati landmark.
Beyond the celebratory luncheon and discussion, Siegel has also been invited to participate in a future design meeting with the Levee’s design and leasing team—something he’s very much looking forward to.
Adam says he feels fortunate to be part of the process. “The Levee is a very special place to me—and so many others in the area. It was a popular date night choice for my wife and I when we were in college and continued to be our go-to destination after we got married. And now that we have three young children, we love bringing them to the Levee to share all the fun with them. We want it to be a healthy, vibrant spot for families like ours for many years to come.”
He’s also excited about what the future holds in store. “As great as the Levee is, I think most people would agree that it has the potential to be so much more. And after meeting with the management team there, I am really excited about their vision and commitment to maximizing that potential and making the Levee all that it can be.”
