Seed Strategy Promotes Three
Seed Strategy has promoted three staff members to leadership positions.
Robert Cherry has been promoted to Vice President, Creative Director.
Cherry is charged with providing leadership in the development of consumer insights and helping to lead the firm’s creative team. With his background in journalism, Cherry brings a unique perspective to marketing and innovation, and has raised the bar on insight gathering and concept writing of propositions and strategies.
Cherry joined the firm in January of 2005. Prior to joining Seed Strategy, Inc. he worked as a journalist, editing the “new-music bible” Alternative Press and penning content for publications such as Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Guitar One and Cleveland’s daily, The Plain Dealer.
Corey Beilstein has been promoted to Senior Consumer Behavior Strategist.
Beilstein has been a catalyst for many of Seed’s innovative research tools, including The Hive Consumer Colony, a web-based research method that makes consumers feel at home and fully engaged—for richer, purer, more reliable insights. In his new role, he’ll continue to develop more tools and techniques that drive strategic insights for new product innovation and brand strategy.
Beilstein joined Seed in September of 2006. Prior to joining Seed, he worked for The Kellogg Company as a food innovation scientist, serving as a project leader for consumer and sensory testing of multiple snack products.
Corey has a BA in psychology from Wittenberg University and a M.A. in cognitive/human experimental psychology from The Ohio State University.
Jeff Johns has been promoted to Associate Creative Director.
Johns is often described as the heart of Seed Strategy. Jeff will continue to deliver great creative ideas, and shelf-ready design visualization, while helping to lead the firm’s creative team.
Since joining Seed near its inception, in 2002, Johns has won numerous awards. Jeff is a graduate of Cincinnati Academy of Design where he was the class Valedictorian and received the institution’s highest award, the Crystal Apple.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to announce each of these promotions,” said Susan Jones, Seed Strategy’s President and Founder. “I’m continually impressed by the hard work, dedication and strategic-driven results that each of these individuals delivers and strives for on behalf of our clients. Plus, they’re just a lot fun to work with.”
