Growth acceleration firm Seed Strategy recently received a Print Excellence Award for its company overview brochure, on behalf of Bramkamp Printing Company.
The contest, sponsored by the Printing Industries of Ohio and N. Kentucky, judged print materials on criteria such as quality of punching and die-cutting, tone and richness of color and overall visual impact. Seed’s 18-page brochure featuring a soft touch, die-cut cover received a Silver Award in the Corporate Communications category.
“We thought it was a beautiful piece, but now seeing it as an award-winner is the icing on the cake,” said Associate Creative Director Jamie Ward, who oversaw the brochure’s design.
The colorful piece details Seed’s capabilities and competitive advantages. Seed also wanted to show the dynamic of everyday life at the agency, opting to use images of employees rather than stock photos.
“So many people played a role in the design process, all working to bring Seed to life in just a few pages,” Ward said. “But in the end, I think we nailed it, and it was the perfect way to mark the agency’s 10-year anniversary.”
